Story 2-Espresso Royale

Espresso Royale, a coffee shop on Grand River Avenue, knows how to pull through tough times while keeping up with their green practices. This small chain expands within the next year to encompass city’s such as Santa Barbara and others when coffee never goes out of style.

Dustin Sprigg the general manager of the shop in Lansing gives us  a sneak peek at what ERC has to offer college students locally and nationally. With $2 specials on Wednesday and small business connections this coffee house is something to admire.

Bike story

East Lansing is a hopping bed of biker action but perhaps not in the sense of the word you would think. One lanky lady speaks out about how bikes have become a large part of her life.

Kristen Gray is an employee at Velocipede peddler and she talks about the differences in bikes available, racing, and the ups and downs of bike life in this video.

I am a journalism senior at MSU. I really enjoy the design aspect of journalism and hope to find a position as a page designer after I graduate in May.

I enjoy playing guitar and writing music. One of my favorite bands is the Avett Brothers. I play at open mic every Tuesday at Dagwood’s in Lansing with my friends. I have a large family and enjoy spending time with them whenever I get the chance. I am from Shepherd Michigan and have lived in Lansing for the past 4 years.

Some of my favorite things include, music, design, FOOD, darts at the Peanut Barrel, and spending time with my family and friends.
